創作概念以線性的時光為軸,融合落在創作場域的萬物所有;運用現地物種生長,帶出感知縱深;文化敘事刻畫出空間立體輪廓述說;圖騰投影創造虛實抽象詩性記憶。自然風貌無所不在的給予,落入空間,有形的具象生物與無形環境現象帶來豐盛的空間感知。光影、雨水、風、氣息、種籽、溪河..紛紛落在土地上。神話時代石生、竹生,人的起源;世代族人的步及履及的身體記憶彼此交會聚合,日夜發光。
The creative concept is based on a linear axis of time, integrating all things that fall within the realm of creation. By incorporating local species growth, it evokes a sense of perceptual depth. Cultural narratives shape the three-dimensional contours of the space and tell its stories, while totemic projections create abstract and poetic memories of both the real and the imagined. The ever-present generosity of nature permeates the space, where tangible living beings and intangible environmental phenomena enrich spatial perception. Light and shadow, rain, wind, breath, seeds, streams… all fall upon the land. In the mythological era, stone and bamboo were born—so was humanity. Generational bodily memories of the tribe’s steps intersect and converge, glowing day and night.
米類・瑪法琉
Milay Mavaliw
出生於台東知本卡大地布部落的卑南族藝術家米類‧瑪法琉(Milay Mavaliw)從運動員到建築設計再走到藝術創作,25歲赴日學習設計,返台從事建築帷幕設計工作,再至2017年返回台東家鄉,成為專職藝術家。 她認為「創作要從內心出來,觀者才能感覺到,人就像一個作品,要怎麼雕塑自己,怎麼把它塑造成我要的形狀。」此種源自內在的思索與自問,從內心發願創造出傳達各族群之美的創作方式,至今仍是她創作中最核心的要素。
