Located in the hot spring mountains of Zhiben, Taitung, this bamboo installation takes the shape of overlapping peaks. A circular opening at its center frames the distant mountain range, symbolizing the silent communication between heaven and earth. More than just a frame for observing nature, this gate serves as a threshold to deep inner and cosmic dialogue, guiding visitors through perception into contemplation. Light filters through the bamboo structure as time flows, transforming the gate into a portal of intersecting space and time. At night, light traces the bamboo grain while mist coils like steam, turning the gate into a dreamlike passage—an artistic poem woven from water, light, and nature.
